July was a month of firsts for The Kringle Cause! We hosted our inaugural Bingo Bells & Beach Towels fundraiserābringing together supporters for a summer evening of laughter, prizes, and community spirit. We also officially released our Impact Plan, a roadmap that captures our mission, programs, and vision for the future. Together, these milestones mark an exciting step forward as we continue building joy, purpose, and hope all year long.
In June, planning began for our first fundraiser: Bingo Bells & Beach Towels, an idea that came from our community. Chisholm Law Firm submitted our 1023EZ to the IRS, Shelby expanded our social media presence, and prize solicitation launchedāenergizing momentum for our mission.
May centered on infrastructure and long-term planning. The board approved Flagstar Bank, opened accounts with Venmo, Zeffy, and launched email systems. Four standing committees were formed, and a volunteer joined for social mediaāmarking growth and inclusive participation.
In April, we launched our first Webflow website and entered the Live First Community Giving Campaign. The board amended bylaws on background checks, volunteers, and standards. Planning began for the Kringle Cause Classic mini-golf fundraiser and Santa School.
In March, The Kringle Cause was incorporated in Arizona on March 13. Jeffrey "JP" Peterson joined as board president. The board ratified bylaws, signed key governance documents, and adopted a corporate seal, laying the foundation for our mission.
In February, The Kringle Cause began its nonprofit journey. Chisholm Law Firm was retained to file 501(c)(3) paperwork, and the first Board of Directors was assembled. This foundational month established our board, mission, and legal framework.
The new year opened with quiet courage and bold ideas. In our first official issue, Jeff Biggs shares the inspiration behind The Kringle Cause, introducing a mission of love, craftsmanship, and inclusion that will grow into a year-round source of joy for children and families.
